Live on National TV: Discussing Autonomous AI and the Rise of Manus

Live on ProTV: What the Rise of Autonomous AI Means for All of Us

A new chapter in artificial intelligence is unfolding — and it doesn't just answer questions, it takes action.

In my latest live interview on ProTV, I discussed Manus, a fully autonomous AI system that can plan its own tasks and execute them independently, without human intervention. Unlike chatbots that merely generate text, Manus can interface with the real world.

"A large language model mimics human intelligence. You talk to it and it gives you a response. But it can't act in the real world. It can't read a document, browse the internet or run a command — Manus can. It has access to a computer, just like yours, and executes real actions to achieve the goals you give it."

We're seeing a transition from models that simulate intelligence to agents that exhibit real agency. As I explained during the interview, Manus isn't just a model that gives answers — it's a system that can read files, browse the internet, and run commands on a real computer to achieve a user-defined objective.

This is the future of LLMs: embedded in tools that understand goals and act toward them. No longer just passive responders, these systems are becoming proactive collaborators.

What does this mean for programmers?

It's simple: the job isn't just writing code anymore. It's about delivering results. Tools like Manus open the door to AI systems that can work alongside us — not just as assistants, but as autonomous teammates. Understanding this shift is crucial for anyone who builds software, leads teams, or shapes policy.

Manus is just the beginning. There's much more to come.
